MCO extended to February 4th, eateries to open until 10pm

The Movement Control Order in Penang, Selangor, Melaka, the Federal Territories, Johor, Kelantan, dan Sabah will be extended until February 4th.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says it’s because authorities are still detecting a high number of COVID-19 cases in these areas...
On another note, Datuk Seri Ismail says starting tomorrow, eateries will be allowed to open until 10pm daily.
This also extends to food delivery services.
This comes following calls from the public for eateries to stay open for a longer time.

Over 3,000 new COVID-19 cases today
Malaysia has reported another 3,170 COVID-19 cases today.
The Health Ministry says KL recorded the highest number of infections, with 576, followed by Selangor with 545, and Johor 423.
Meanwhile, the death toll has risen to 642, after 12 more patients succumbed to the virus.

Cops to look into viral video; gambling at MAEPS COVID-19 center
Police have opened an investigation into claims that a group of patients were allegedly gambling at a low risk COVID-19 quarantine and treatment center.
Cops say the incident happened at the Malaysian Agro Exposition Park in Serdang, Selangor.
A video over the matter went viral on social media.
