Here's the categories of people eligible for the first phase of Covid-19 vaccinations

The government has listed categories of people eligible for the first phase of Covid-19 vaccinations amid growing pressure to tackle vaccine queue jumpers.
The first category involves members directly involved with treatment and healthcare covering institutions under the Health and Defence Ministry, training and private hospitals.
The other category comprises those involved in the health sector, security agencies and forces as well as essential services.
Pregnant women should consult specialists before Covid-19 vaccination
Pregnant women can consider getting vaccinated against Covid-19, after consulting their doctors for a risk assessment.
The Health Ministry says this is to determine if the benefits of vaccination outweigh any risks to the recipient or the foetus.
17,000 Malaysians vaccinated against Covid-19
More than 17,000 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19, since the National Immunisation programme kicked off last week.
The states that have administered the most vaccine jabs are Sarawak, Pahang and Perak.
