Expect scheduled water cuts in the Klang Valley next week

Petaling, Klang and Shah Alam districts will be affected by a scheduled water supply disruption for two days starting next Tuesday due to maintenance works.

Water cuts will also affect 12 areas in Gombak and 46 areas in KL starting April 6th.

The Health Ministry assures that the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine is safe for use.

It says data from clinical trials revealed no major side effects.

As for reports of some recipients developing blood clots, the ministry says only 15 cases of blood clotting and 22 cases of artery blockage were recorded globally.

This is out of 17 million AstraZeneca vaccine recipients - but there is no concrete evidence saying that these side effects are linked to the vaccine.

A school in Kota Bharu, Kelantan has been ordered to temporarily close after 11 teachers and a student tested positive for Covid-19.

The outbreak was believed to have been triggered by a teacher who attended a wedding reception before infecting others.
