Cabinet will decide next week on Undi18

The Cabinet will decide on the lowering of the voting age to 18, next week.

Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican says the Undi18 issue as well as automatic voter registration were discussed during the
Cabinet meeting yesterday.

Last week, the Election Commission said the two policies could only be realised after September 1 next year as it’s facing constraints such as the MCO.

We will receive its first 600,000 doses of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine in June.

The government says it had received the delivery schedule from AstraZeneca Malaysia, where the vaccines would be coming from its contract manufacturing plant in Thailand.

The Health Ministry has continuously assured that the vaccine is safe for use and even international regulators have found the benefits of this vaccine outweigh risks significantly.

Water supply has been fully restored in Petaling following scheduled water disruptions in certain districts in Selangor.

Meanwhile, only 21% of the affected consumers in Klang have had their taps flowing again, however, it's still dry taps for those in Shah Alam.
