Several places in Sabah & Pahang placed under EMCO

Several localities in Sabah and Pahang will be under enhanced MCO until April 27 due to a rise in the number of Covid-19 cases in the areas.
Four localities in three districts in Sabah and one in Pahang will be affected.
500 health personnel will be mobilized to Sarawak, to contain the state’s spike in Covid-19 infections.
The Health Ministry says the state has been showing a rising trend of new cases since early January.
Malaysia recorded 1,767 Covid-19 cases yesterday along with 12 fatalities.
Sarawak recorded the highest number of infections for the second day in a row, with 607 new cases.
Meanwhile, health authorities have identified 9 new Covid-19 clusters, which reported 190 cases so far.
