Viral poster on MCO is fake!

Claims that the government will reintroduce a movement control order (MCO) this week is fake news.
The National Security Council has denied a viral statement claiming that an MCO would be implemented in Selangor.
It also clarified that a viral poster with information on SOPs for an MCO that was supposedly to start on 10th May, is not true, as the council has yet to issue any official statement on the matter.
This comes after Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said on Saturday that the MCO rules will be reviewed following a recent spike in Covid-19 cases.
Residents outside of Selangor and KL will soon be able to apply for the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine.
The Science, Technology and Innovation Minister says 1 million more doses are expected to arrive here by this month.
Khairy Jamaluddin says the authorities wil ensure that even those without internet access will be able to sign up.
This as Malaysians in the Klang Valley snapped up appointments for the 268,000 doses of the Astrazeneca vaccine within hours of the booking system going live yesterday.
De facto Law Minister Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan is optimistic that Undi18 will be implemented before GE15.
He says the Election Commission is currently in the midst of finalising several matters and that it is likely the lowering of the voting age would come into effect by July.
