Cops probe Prasarana chairman Datuk Seri Tajuddin

KL police are investigating Prasarana chairman Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman for allegedly breaching COVID-19 SOPs.

Datuk Seri Tajuddin is accused of failing to wear a face mask during a press conference yesterday, regarding an accident between two LRT trains.

Cops say they will call all parties involved to record their statements.

Kelana Jaya LRT accident driver suspended pending investigation

The train driver who was said to have caused the collision between two LRT trains along the Kelana Jaya line earlier this week has been suspended pending investigations.

Meanwhile the Transport Ministry has set up a special task force to investigate the accident comprising ministry officials and other relevant agencies.

Earlier, the ministry said the cause of the collision was due to human error after the driver of the empty LRT train drove in the wrong direction.

Kelana Jaya LRT accident: train driver tests negative for drugs

KL police say the driver involved in the accident tested negative for drugs.

They say for now there is no need for cops to record the individual's statement.

They add that cops are prepared to assist the Transport Ministry's special task force with investigations.
