Joggers only allowed to move within their residential neighbourhood
Jun 08, 2021
Joggers are only allowed to move within their residential neighbourhood during the total lockdown.
Police say those caught jogging beyond the boundaries of their residential neighbourhood will be fined.
This comes after 8 individuals were fined in Hulu Kelang for jogging in a residential area that did not match the addresses in their ICs.
Jogging is allowed during the current lockdown but there must be a physical distance of at least 2 metres and this should be confined to the boundaries of one’s residential area.
Starting today, police will only accept approval letters issued by 6 ministries and certain agencies, in allowing workers to pass through roadblocks to commute to and from work.
For those who are self-employed, one-off travel permits must be obtained from the police, throughout the duration of the total lockdown.
