Over 6k new COVID-19 cases for 4th straight day

Malaysia reported 6,982 new COVID-19 cases today, which is the fourth day in a row that new cases passed the 6,000 mark.
Selangor had the most infections, followed by KL, and Negeri Sembilan.
Meanwhile, the death toll rose to 5,327.

Private heath facilities to still administer COVID-19 vaccines during EMCO
COVID-19 vaccinations will continue at private health facilities during the Enhanced Movement Control Order in the Klang Valley, which starts tomorrow.
Authorities say over 960 of such facilities are currently participating under the National Immunisation Program.
The EMCO will be enforced in several subdistricts and localities in Selangor and KL until July 16th.

We’re on track to get 10% of the population fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Malaysia is on track to fully vaccinate 10% of the population against COVID-19 by mid this month.
The Health Ministry says currently, some 7% of the population have already received two doses of the vaccine.
Overall, more than 8.3 million doses have now been given nationwide.
