report anyone using fake covid-19 vaccination certs

Everyone has been urged to report any individuals who use fake COVID-19 vaccine certificates, in an attempt to take advantage of relaxed travel restrictions.

The Foreign Affairs Minister says such acts are irresponsible, adding that SOP violators must be brought to justice.

Starting today, fully vaccinated residents are allowed to cross district borders, as well as dine in at restaurants.

However, this only applies to those living in areas under Phase 2 and above of the National Recovery Plan.

The decision to relax travel restrictions for parents who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to visit their young kids, was made based on the mental well-being of families, who’ve been hit hard by the ongoing pandemic.

Foreign Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Hishamuddin Hussein says the government could not allow unmarried children to visit their parents, due to a high risk of spreading the coronavirus.

However, he says the new ruling could be extended to unmarried children, depending on the current situation.
