Being fully vaccinated is not an excuse to forget SOPs

Do not let down your guard, even if you’re fully vaccinated against Covid-19! 

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin says this should not be used as an excuse to be complacent in observing SOPs.

He also reminded the Klang Valley citizens to continue complying with the rules such as wearing face masks, maintaining physical distance and washing hands regularly.

This comes after large crowds were seen in the city centre and recreational parks last weekend after the Klang Valley moved to Phase 2 of the national recovery plan.

Malaysia has recorded a high number of Covid-19 recoveries compared to new cases!

More than 18 thousand patients were discharged yesterday, compared to 15,669 daily cases.

This will be the 14th consecutive day that recoveries have outnumbered new infections.


Penang has proposed a test run to reopen spacious outdoor tourist attractions in the state before allowing the full resumption of travel activities.

State officials say this is aimed at fine-tuning and improving health protocols at the tourist attractions.
