Schools in five phase 4 states to resume on Nov 21, 22

Schools in Kedah, Perak, Perlis, Penang and Sabah will reopen on November 21 and 22.

The Education Ministry said this as those states entered the 4th phase of the National Recovery Plan yesterday.

This will involve Year 1 to 6 students in primary schools as well as remove classes and Forms 1 to 4 in secondary schools.

The same will apply for private education institutions that are registered with the Ministry.

Malaysia reported a slight rise in Covid-19 infections, with 4,543 infections.

According to CovidNow, the highest number of cases yesterday was reported in

Selangor, followed by Sarawak and Sabah.

Malaysia and Singapore are set to launch a COVID vaccinated travel lane.

PM Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob and the Singaporean PM say it's due to both countries’ high vaccination rates.

Those who are fully vaccinated will be allowed to travel between KLIA and Changi airport starting November 29th.
