Almost 370 teachers in Perak still unvaccinated
Nov 09, 2021
Almost 370 teachers in Perak have yet to receive the COVID vaccine.
The state's Menteri Besar says around 75% of them outrightly refused to take the shot, claiming it’s their right.
Because of this, all schools in Perak have been reminded to push their staff to take the jab immediately.
This, ahead of the reopening of schools in the state later this month.

Sarawak calls for state election due to new COVID variant concerns
Sarawak has rubbished allegations that it is rushing to hold a state election, to avoid the implementation of Undi18 in January.
Authorities explained that the decision is due to concerns over the possible emergence of new COVID-19 variants.
The Sarawak state legislative assembly was dissolved last week, after the Yang di-Pertuan gave his consent to lift its state of emergency.
This means a state election must be held within 60 days.
