Undi18, automatic voter registration to take effect on Dec 15

The government has gazetted that Undi18 (undi lapan belas) and automatic voter
registration will officially be implemented on December 15th.
The law to lower the voting age from 21 to 18 and allow automatic voter registration was
passed by Parliament in July 2019.
This comes into effect 3 days before Sarawak goes to the polls on December 18th,
however, it is unclear whether 18 to 20 year olds will be allowed to vote.

65 students at a school in Cyberjaya have tested positive for Covid-19.

The Education Minister says this is the first time a boarding school has reported this many cases.

The affected students were in Form 1 and 2.

Malaysia reported a rise in Covid-19 cases yesterday, with 5,439 new infections.

Only 1.9% of them had moderate to severe symptoms.
