MySejahtera cert now recognised in Philippines

Malaysians are now allowed to enter the Philippines using the COVID-19 vaccination certificate on MySejahtera.
Travellers from the Philippines can also come into Malaysia with their respective cert.
Wisma Putra says this is after the two governments reached an agreement to mutually recognize the certs as proof of vaccination.
This, after seven Malaysians were initially denied entry into the Philippines due to authorities earlier not recognizing our cert.

New COVID-19 cases up to 22k
Daily COVID-19 cases in the country rose again, after the Health Ministry reported 22,133 infections today.
It’s up by over 800 cases compared to yesterday’s tally.
Of the new cases, more than 70% involve patients with mild symptoms, while less than a percent are in categories 3,4,and 5.

Over 200k kids now partially immunised
More than 200,000 children aged 5 to 11 have already received their first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.
This means close to 6% of kids in this age group are now partially immunised.
Overall, some 65 million vaccine doses have been administered under the National Immunisation Program.
