The Health Minister wants more Malaysians to come forward to get their booster shot, and their children immunised against COVID-19.

Khairy Jamaluddin says not only is it to protect us from the coronavirus, but also enable us to enjoy more relaxed SOPs.

He says several SOPs have been relaxed this month, including quarantine rules for asymptomatic close contacts.

The government has also removed daily testing requirements for travellers entering Malaysia via selected travel programs.

All vaccinated senior citizens and Sinovac vaccine recipients have been reminded to get their COVID-19 booster shot by the end of this month.

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin says it's because those who fail to do so will no longer be considered fully vaccinated from April 1st.

Khairy also reminded parents not to send their children to school if they show signs of infection.

He says kids should not be made to return to class until they get tested for COVID-19.
