7-day road charge exemption for S'pore-registered vehicles

All Singapore-registered private vehicles will be given a week-long road charge exemption when entering Malaysia this Friday.
The Transport Ministry says its to avoid congestion at the two land checkpoints, if a traveller has an invalid Touch n Go card, or insufficient balance.
As such, it says travellers should use the seven-day exemption to get their Touch n Go cards renewed or reloaded.
Meanwhile, the ministry says all cross border public transport services between
Malaysia and Singapore will be allowed to operate from April 1st.

3.8 magnitude earthquake in Sabah
Sabah was hit by a weak 3.8 magnitude earthquake last night.
According to MetMalaysia, the quake struck nearly 50 kilometres east of Pitas, and tremors could be felt in Beluran.
It adds that it will continue to monitor the situation.

Recovered patients nearly double daily COVID-19 infections
Recovered COVID-19 patients were almost double the number of daily infections yesterday.
There were over 25,000 recoveries, compared to 13,336 cases, which is also 3,500-plus cases lower than the previous day.
Meanwhile, 54 more fatalities were recorded nationwide, including 16 brought-in-dead cases.
Selangor, Perak, and KL had the most deaths.
