Nearly 120 international flights expected to arrive today
Apr 01, 2022
Airports nationwide are ready to welcome back all airport users as we reopen our international borders today.
Malaysia Airports officials say among the improvements made include having passengers complete all necessary preparations on the MySejahtera app before departing from their country of origin.
It’s to shorten the documentation process when they arrive in Malaysia.
They add that queueing areas at Immigration counters have also been made more spacious for passengers’ comfort.
Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia expects nearly 120 international flights to arrive today.
Most of them are scheduled to arrive at KLIA, from the UK, Australia, and Hong Kong among others.

KJ: MySejahtera should still be used after endemic transition
The Health Ministry is considering doing away with MySejahtera check-ins after monitoring the COVID situation following the reopening of international borders.
However, its minister says there is still a need for Malaysians to continue using the app even after we begin transitioning into endemicity.
Khairy Jamaluddin says the Malaysian Medical Association suggested maintaining the app, to use it as a digital health system.
On another note, KJ has reiterated that data and information on MySejahtera is fully owned by the government.
As such, he assured that all data kept in the app’s database is protected, and is only used to deal with the pandemic.
