Starting tomorrow, visitors and caregivers will be allowed to accompany patients in hospital wards subject to new protocols.
The Health Ministry says caregivers and visitors must be 12 years old and above, be fully vaccinated, and are not at high-risk of COVID-19 infection.
For COVID patients, only caregivers will be allowed to be present specifically for patients who need special care, as well as child patients.
No visitors are allowed for COVID patients, except for end-of-life patients.
Meanwhile, caregivers and visitors of non-COVID patients, including those accompanying pregnant mothers during labour, must test negative for the coronavirus, among other SOPs.
