Booking link given out for second COVID-19 booster vaccination

A booking link to receive the second COVID-19 booster shot will be given out in stages via the MySejahtera app.
The Health Minister says those who receive the link can book an appointment at listed vaccination centres.
Those eligible for the jab are senior citizens aged 60 and above who took their first booster dose at least four to six months ago.
Khairy Jamaluddin adds that boosted senior citizens who were infected by COVID can receive the second booster three months after recovery.

Immunocompromised teens eligible for additional COVID-19 vaccine dose
Teenagers aged 12 to 17 who are immunocompromised are eligible to take an additional dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Health Minister says they can take the jab at least 28 days after completing their primer vaccination.
Meanwhile, teens who have completed the primary dose and were infected by COVID can receive the additional shot three months after recovery.

Daily COVID-19 infections rise to 6K; 12 deaths
Daily COVID-19 cases rose to 6,342 yesterday, which is some 400 infections more than the previous day’s tally.
A further 12 fatalities were recorded nationwide, 2 of which were classified as brought-in-dead cases.
Most of the deaths were detected in Johor, Melaka, and Selangor.
Meanwhile, recoveries stood at over 9,000.
