New security feature for MyJPJ app

There are new security features for the MyJPJ app.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke says users now have to input their drivers license number as well, upon registration.
Previously, users could register for the app with just the IC number…leading to concerns that someone else could use this info to register for an account.
Nearly 2.5 million users have registered for the app so far, since the announcement that vehicle road tax was going digital.

There will be an investigation into allegations that a woman had been scolded about her attire, while seeking treatment at a government hospital in Kampar.
The Health Director-General says such things should not be happening at health facilities, adding that action will be taken if the claims are proven true.

The Prime Minister says the MACC is now focusing on larger-scale graft cases…to be more effective in fighting corruption which has become systemic.
Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim adds that the government is also looking to strengthen the relevant laws to protect whistleblowers who come forward to expose corruption.

The government is targeting to install some ten thousand electric vehicle charging points nationwide by the year 2025…up from just around 900 currently.
Meanwhile, TNB says its allocating 90 million ringgit over the next two years, to build more charging stations for electric vehicles nationwide, including along the North South Highway.
