MACC to call Tengku Zafrul for questioning
Feb 20, 2023
The MACC will call in International Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz soon, to get a statement as part of the probe into the Jana Wibawa project.
He had served as Finance Minister at the time of the Muhyiddin-era project, to help Bumiputera contractors affected by the Covid pandemic.
Tengku Zafrul has since taken to social media, saying he will fully cooperate and has nothing to hide.
This, after former PM Tan Sr Muhyiddin Yassin had his statement recorded last week, as part of the same investigation.
