Cops: Don't Fall For eMadani Scams
Dec 05, 2023
The police have reminded people NOT to fall for any potential scams related to the RM100 eMadani credit.
Bukit Aman’s Commercial Crimes Department says this includes supposed offers of cash-out or peer-to-peer transfers
It adds that so far, it has not received any reports of such schemes.
This, as registration for the credit opened yesterday.
Meanwhile, a Berita Harian report says offers of eMadani cash-out and peer-to-peer transfer schemes have already mushroomed on social media.
This is despite the Finance Ministry’s warning that such transfers are NOT ALLOWED.
It also said that it will not be responsible for any loss of credit, adding your e-wallet account could be SUSPENDED.

Police have arrested two suspects, following a car chase from Petaling Jaya to Cyberjaya last night.
However, two other suspects managed to escape the pursuit, which reportedly involved nearly 30 police vehicles.
Cops say the pursuit started when the suspects tried to flee after being pulled over.
Videos of the chase went viral on social media.
