Was Zayn Rayyan Murdered?

The death of 6-year-old Zayn Rayyan is now being investigated for murder. 

This was confirmed by the Selangor police chief, who said that a postmortem revealed suspicious marks on his neck and body.  

He adds that so far no one has been brought in for questioning.  

State police earlier said that they will soon call up the autistic child’s parents, neighbours and witnesses to help investigations.  

He was reported missing on Tuesday, and his remains were found last night, near a river close to his home in Damansara Damai.

CyberSecurity Malaysia says it has received reports of WhatsApp users getting messages from scammers impersonating their contacts.  

The recipients will be sent a link, and if it’s clicked the scammer will be able to take control of their WhatsApp Account.  

The scammer will then impersonate the victim and send messages to the victim's contacts through the hacked account. 

Meanwhile, the Communications and Digital Minister says authorities will meet with WhatsApp’s owner Meta tomorrow, to discuss the issue.  

He also advised WhatsApp users to be careful and avoid clicking on any suspicious links.
