MACC To Quiz Ex-PM

The MACC will soon call up a former PM and his aides for questioning over RM700m that was spent for publicity purposes.  

However, its chief commissioner did not say when the interviews will happen.  

Tan Sri Azam Baki adds that for now, the commission's primary focus is on how the funds were used, and which companies benefited from the money.   

Last week, the MACC confirmed that it's investigating the money, which was spent under two previous federal administrations.

Nearly 400 thousand candidates will sit for their SPM Bahasa Melayu Oral Test from today until Thursday.  

This includes students affected by floods in Johor.  

The state government previously said assistance will be given to ensure that candidates in flood affected areas can sit for the exams. 

The assistance will be given if rising waters affect their homes, their examination centres or the routes to the centres.  

Meanwhile, education authorities in Pahang say that 57 flood-affected SPM candidates have been relocated, to allow them to take the oral test.

Oppenheimer has won big at the Golden Globe Awards, winning prizes including Best Motion Picture Drama

Its cast members, Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr won best actor and best supporting actor respectively, while Christopher Nolan took home the best director award.  

Meanwhile Barbie won two Golden Globe awards. 

It picked up the prize for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, which recognizes blockbuster films.  

It also won Best Original Song, with Billie Eilish's What Was I Made For?
