MOH Working On Digitalizing Health Records

The Health Ministry is working on rolling out the Electronic Health Records system, to streamline access to patients’ medical information and history.
This means digital versions of a patient’s data will be stored in a central location, instead of having them scattered across various healthcare facilities.
This will make it easier for healthcare providers in the public and private sectors to access the information seamlessly.

The Education Ministry is currently finalizing the extension of compulsory schooling until Form Five, which it says is necessary to tackle the high number of school dropouts.
Currently, it is only compulsory for kids to attend school until Year Six.
