No Start Date Yet For Targeted Diesel Subsidy

The government has yet to decide on when to implement the targeted diesel subsidies.
However, the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry says it has been agreed in principle to start it this year.
It explained that the implementation date will be set once the Cabinet is satisfied with the targeting mechanism.
It adds that the government is taking several measures to ensure nobody takes advantage of the situation by arbitrarily raising prices after the adjustment is enforced.

The Education Ministry is encouraging candidates to access their 2023 SPM results via SMS and online platforms, which is faster and easier than retrieving them in person.
However, those who do not have access to online platforms can collect the results from their respective schools.
The results will be released on Monday from 10AM onwards.

Separately, the ministry has assured that upgrading works of dilapidated schools will be completed according to the time frame set by the Works Department.
It also clarified that there are no delays in the upgrading thus far.
