Better SPM Results In 2023

The results of the 2023 SPM exam are out, with candidates generally doing better than the previous year.

Education Director-General Azman Bin Adnan says there’s been an increase in the number of candidates who scored A’s in all subjects…with 11,713 achieving A+, A and A-.

There was also an improvement in the National Average Grade from 4.74 to 4.6…with a lower score indicating a better performance.

More details about the targeted diesel subsidies will be announced soon.

The Prime Minister says this includes information on the implementation date and mechanism.

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim adds that the explanation will be given by the Second Finance Minister, to follow up on his own overview of the plan announced last week.

The Inland Revenue Board says more social media influencers are coming forward to declare their taxes.

At least 12 people were injured due to severe turbulence on a Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Dublin.
