All government schools MUST follow the Education Ministry's new Dual Language Programme guidelines.

She adds the ministry is ready to help out any schools that are facing difficulties in complying with the guidelines.
Under the new guidelines, government schools must have a class teaching mathematics and science in the national language.

Students looking to enter public higher learning institutions will know the outcome of their applications next week.
According to the Education Ministry, they can check the results through the websites of the respective varsities or skills training institutes from Friday, June 28th until July 7th.
They can also do it via the UPUPocket mobile app.
Meanwhile the deadline to either accept or decline the offers will be on July 7th.

A school van driver in Johor has been released on police bail a day after she reportedly struck and killed a 5-year-old girl.
This, after cops recorded her statement.
Earlier reports said the incident happened after the driver dropped off the victim and her elder brother at their home in Pasir Gudang.
