Anwar: Thailand-Cambodia Agree To Ceasefire

Thailand and Cambodia have agreed to a ceasefire.
ASEAN Chair, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says he had spoken to the leaders of both countries, and they agreed to pull their troops back from disputed border areas.
However, the PM said it would take time for the ceasefire to take effect.
Thai officials earlier said that 16 people, mostly civilians have died in the fighting along the Cambodian border.
Cambodia has so far not released its death toll.

The Transport Minister says tomorrow's rally in KL will not affect the city's public transport systems, including KTMB and Prasarana rail services.
The transport minister says they will be operating normally, to ensure that the majority can carry out their weekend activities without disruption.
This, as KTMB denied claims on social media, that it will shut down the Bank Negara and Kuala Lumpur stations would be closed tomorrow.

A social media influencer and his brother have been fined and jailed for faking the influencer's disappearance.
They were each jailed for a month and fined RM1,500 after pleading guilty to a charge of lodging a fake police report.
The influencer was reported missing after his car was found submerged in a river in Muar, Johor.
It has since been revealed that he fled to Thailand for financial reasons.

Police have arrested three teenagers for their alleged involvement in a recent abduction case in Puchong, Selangor.
This means that 4 people are now in custody, after viral footage showed the victim being dragged off the street and shoved into the back of a lorry.
