AGC: Never Take Matters Into Your Own Hands

Aug 15, 2025

agc: never take matters into your own hands

Leave it to the authorities if you see any cases of the Jalur Gemilang being displayed incorrectly.

The Attorney General's Chambers warned that people should never take matters into their own hands.

This includes threatening, provoking or raiding the premises of the Indvidual involved.

Also, they should not share the individual's personal info or make baseless accusations against them online.

The AGC says instead, they should lodge reports with the proper authorities.

Johor police say a woman has been placed under an induced coma, after being set on fire by a man near the Simpang Renggam toll plaza.

The suspect is also seriously injured due to burns on his body.

Meanwhile a third individual also required medical treatment, due to burns sustained while trying to rescue the victim.

The mother of a deceased UTM Palapes cadet has filed for a court order, to exhume his body for a second post-mortem.

She says she wants confirmation on whether or not there were any criminal elements in the death of her son, who passed away during a training programme in Johor.

She also wants Bukit Aman to set up a new investigation team, similar to the one for the Zara Qairina case.

A 6-year-old girl in Johor remains under observation in hospital, after suffering a serious head injury in a fall at her school.

The state government said this, after the girl underwent surgery earlier this week.

According to earlier reports, the girl was playing with friends when she was allegedly pushed and fell.

She was reported to have suffered a skull fracture and internal bleeding in the brain.

An NGO has urged the government to introduce a new law on school bullying that covers physical, mental and online .

According to Gerakan Gubal Akta Anti-Buli, it must have comprehensive measures to protect bullying victims, and punish the bullies properly.
