999 Call Service Still Available

The recently-launched SaveME999 app is not the only way to contact emergency services.
Authorities explained that the app is just an additional option for users who need multimedia capabilities to report an emergency.
They add that you can continue using the existing 999 emergency call service as usual.
This, as part of efforts to enhance the inclusivity of Malaysia's emergency response system.

Medical sick certificates issued solely through virtual consultation, even by registered medical practitioners, are not allowed.
The Malaysian Medical Council says any MCs can only be issued after a proper consultation is conducted.
The process must include history taking, physical examination, and further investigation where necessary.

Malaysia Rail Link has stopped all construction works after a temporary steel canopy at its ECRL construction site near Batu Caves collapsed onto a passing car yesterday.
