Klang Valley water cuts to go on for at least 4 days

Sep 04, 2020

It could take a while longer, before water supplies can resume in the Klang Valley.

Air Selangor's CEO says it will take at least for days for supplies to resume, once the four water treatment plants that were shut down, resume operations,

Over a thousand areas in the Klang Valley are facing dry taps, after pollution in Sungai Selangor forced the treatment plants to shut down yesterday morning,

For now, the contamination level means that water from the river is still not safe for consumption.

Meanwhile the Selangor government has impounded a factory in Rawang believed to be the cause of the water cuts in the Klang Valley.
