Police complete probe into Cabinet Minister who broke COVID-19 rules

Police have wrapped up investigations into the Cabinet Minister who broke mandatory COVID-19 SOPs.
This, after the cops recorded the statement of their final witness yesterday.
The investigation paper is expected to be sent to the Attorney General's Chambers tomorrow.
Active COVID-19 infections rise to 312
Malaysia's number of active COVID-19 infections has risen to 312.
This is after 24 new cases were reported today, 18 of which were local transmissions.
13 are from the Sungai Cluster, while only two are involved in the Benteng cluster in Lahad Datu, Sabah.
The death toll remains unchanged at 128.
Cops suggest river pollution culprits to be investigated under SOSMA
Those behind last week's unscheduled water disruptions in the Klang Valley could face tougher action.
The IGP suggested that they could be investigated them under the Security Offences Special Measures Act, which is usually employed against those involved in organised crime.
Earlier, police remanded several individuals of a factory in Rawang, which is being blamed for polluting a river which left over a thousand areas in the Klang Valley without water.
