Malaysia reports 835 new COVID-19 cases

835 new COVID-19 cases were reported today, five of which were imported cases.
Sabah recorded the highest number with 410, followed by 155 in Negeri Sembilan and Selangor 126.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry says since the start of the pandemic, 30% of clusters in the country involved work areas.
Its Director General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah says as of today, 37 of these clusters are still active.
The death toll has risen to 238, after two more patients succumbed to the coronavirus.

EMCO enforced in two Hulu Langat areas
Two areas in Selangor’s Hulu Langat district will be placed under an Enhanced MCO.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says they involve the Sungai Emas Flats, as well as Plaza Hentian Kajang.
The order comes into effect from midnight tonight until November 10th.

Price of face masks to go lower
The ceiling price of three-ply surgical face masks is set to be lowered again.
The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister says starting next month, it will cost 70 sen per mask.
Earlier this year, the price was lowered to its current cost of RM1.
