Health DG: Covid-19 infection rate can be lowered in 3 weeks' time

The Health Ministry believes that it can flatten the curve of Covid-19 infection rate in 3 weeks’ time.
It is optimistic to reduce the r-naught figure to 0.5 soon.
The Ministry adds that the number of new cases is expected to continue to increase in the average of 971 cases.
This as we reported 1,032 new Covid-19 cases and 8 deaths, bringing the total number of cases to surpass 35 thousand.
6 new COVID-19 clusters have been detected in Sabah, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Putrajaya.
Meanwhile, two clusters, namely the Embun Cluster in Selangor and Bah Tanjung Cluster in Terengganu were declared to have ended, without further loss of life.
The two-week conditional MCO in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan will come into effect today.
All education institutions in the district have been ordered to close during this period.
