Covid-19: Selangor recorded highest single day tally

Selangor has recorded its highest number of Covid-19 infections so far with 603 new cases.  

The state alone accounted for more than half of the 1,096 infections reported yesterday in  the country.  

There are currently over 12,000 people still being treated.  

Health authorities reported 3 new clusters in Penang, Perak, Negeri  Sembilan and Kedah.  

This now brings the number of active clusters in the country to 167.  

The enforcement of the conditional MCO in Kuching, Sarawak has been extended by another 5 days.  

The CMCO, which was supposed to end yesterday, will be lifted on Friday.
