Malaysia records more than 2,000 Covid-19 cases in a day
Nov 25, 2020
Malaysia has recorded more than 2,000 Covid-19 cases in a day for the first time ever!
This as we reported 2,188 new infections yesterday, bringing the number of active cases in the country to over 14,000.
The spike was once again caused by the Teratai cluster, which is linked to 28 factories in Klang, Selangor.
On the flip side, the Health Ministry also reported about 1,600 recoveries.
Starting today, those who plan to travel from Sabah to other states will no longer have to undergo 14-day COVID-19 quarantine.
Instead, they will only need to take a swab test 3 days before their departure and if it comes back positive, they will not be allowed to continue with their journey.
27 areas in Kuala Langat and Sepang experiencing scheduled water supply disruption due to upgrading work at distribution pipes are expected to have their taps flowing again by 5.30pm today.
