Negeri Sembilan records highest number of Covid-19 infections

Negeri Sembilan accounted for about one-third of 1,600 new Covid-19 infections, with the result of a spike in infections in the Bakti prison cluster.

Two other states that saw the most number of cases are Selangor and Sabah, at 426 and 248, respectively.

Meanwhile, two more people have died due to the virus, raising the death toll to 384.

The government has yet to decide on lifting the limit to the number of people who can sit at one table in food outlets in recovery and conditional MCO areas.

The Senior Minister for Security told Berita Harian that restaurants still need to adhere to the ‘4-per-table’ rule adding that he will be making an announcement on this issue soon.

The Wildlife Department will install animal traps at a shopping mall in Putrajaya, following the intrusion of a wild boar on Sunday, to prevent the incident from recurring.

Perhilitan says it will also work with the Putrajaya Corporation to increase monitoring in the area.
