Floods ease in Kuala Krai

Flood waters in Kuala Krai, Kelantan have receded, allowing all evacuees in the district to return home.

However, 14 thousand people are still displaced in 6 other districts in the state.

Over in Terengganu, 5 thousand flood victims are still seeking shelter in Kemaman, Besut, Marang, Dungun, Setiu and Kuala Terengganu.

Meanwhile, the number of flood victims in Pitas, Sabah fell to around 280 people this morning, while 10 schools were ordered to close today.
