Sabah police suspect an intrusion will happen in the state's east coast over the Raya period.

The Philippines are cracking down on militants in Marawi at the moment.

Sabah's forces are concerned the conflict will spill over here.

As such, the police have tightened security along the border and beefed up its forces.

ESSCOM has also issued a new list comprising 18 individuals wanted for alleged transborder crimes in the ESSZone last year.
