Former PM Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has downplayed the possibility of him contesting in the 14th General Election.
According to Sinar Online, the Parti Pribumi Bersatu M'sia chairman says he'll only do so if he is desperately needed.

In other news, the Election Commission has decided there is no need for a by-election for the Lenggeng state seat in Negeri Sembilan.
The seat fell vacant following the death of incumbent Datuk Ishak Ismail on Tuesday.
