Kedah is considering seeking aid from the Federal Government's Disaster Trust Fund.

Kedah is considering seeking aid from the Federal Government's Disaster Trust Fund to help farmers affected by recent floods.

The state govt says the application will be made once the floods subside, and an estimate of the damage is made. 

This, as more people were taken to flood relief centres in Kedah.

Some 2 thousand evacuees are currently seeking shelster there, from 1,900 last night.

However, the number of people displaced in Perlis fell by 200, to around 1 thousand evacuees.
