A special committee is being set up to investigate companies accused of offering fake housing schemes.
The Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Ministry says the committee will take effect starting today.
The Ministry is responding to complaints from house buyers, who claim they were cheated into paying for non-existant houses.
Anyone who faces similar issues can lodge a complaint with the ministry.
