EC: we believe there are 5 reason

The Election Commission believes there are 5 reasons why millions of Malaysians have yet to register as voters, despite the impending GE 14.

The first is the belief that the polling system is not in line with religious concepts.

Others are:

- Ignorance of the importance of voter registration

- Preference to voice their sentiments online

- Tired of politics

- Don't know how to register.

3.7 million Malaysians had yet to register as voters as of July, with most of them youths aged between 21 and 30.
