The first phase of the Special Criminal Court on Sexual Crimes Against Children in Sarawak, Selangor and Johor will be implemented no later than year-end.
The government says those 3 states were chosen for their high rates of sexual crime against children.
The special court will be extended to other states across 4 phases, with Kedah, Perlis, Kelantan and Pahang next on the list.
