60 percent of post-flood rubbish in Penang has been cleared up!

The state govt is confident the cleanup operation will be over in 3 to 4 days.

Meanwhile, the Penang Island City Council will investigate claims that some of its members are asking to be paid in return for cleaning flood-affected houses.

As the situation stablises, more evacuees have allowed to go home, leaving 3,500 at relief centres.
