Malaysia is ready to help areas in the Philippines affected by Typhoon Tembin.
The Defence Ministry is on standby, but there have been no reports of our neighbours officially asking for help yet.
Typhoon Tembin triggered flash floods and landslides in Southern Philippines over Christmas, killing over 200 people.
The typhoon has been degraded to a storm and now heads to Vietnam, where nearly a million people have been evacuated as a precaution.
