Met Dept: Expect more wind and rain until mid-May.

Expect more wind and rain until mid-May as the monsoon transition period has started.

The Met Department says thunderstorms and heavy rain will be the norm, especially in the afternoon and early at night.

It also warned of flash floods and property damage.
