Malaysian women with chronic kidney disease have lower survival rates compared to men.
The National Kidney Foundation believe it's because women tend to delay health screenings due to social reasons, among them, having to care for their families.
It also explained Chronic Kidney Disease is more prevalent in women, and it's hard to notice withouth a health screening because there are hardly any signs.
